Dextromethorfan is een niet-narcotisch, centraal werkzaam antitussivum (hoestremmer) dat de hoestprikkel onderdrukt via inwerking op het centraal zenuwstelsel.
Volwassenen en kinderen vanaf 12 jaar: 20 mg elke 4 uur of 30 mg elke 6 tot 8 uur. Maximale dagdosis: 120 mg.
